5 Los Angeles-Based Run Clubs That Value The Recovery Beer

BeerFit runners

The BeerFit Running Series will be bringing the 5k of your dreams and America’s favorite beer mile race to Pasadena’s Fairplex this Saturday, March 19.

To unite all BeerFit runners in the area, we’ve rounded up the five best LA-based running groups that believe in celebrating their runs with a beer.

Run, Yoga & Beer With Angel City Brewery

Meet up at Angel City Brewery every Sunday for a little exercise followed by some well-deserved beer. The brewery hosts a two mile run around downtown Los Angeles, followed by a vinyasa flow class at 10am. Just $10 grants you access to the workout and one recovery beer.

Pub Run With A Snail’s Pace Running Club

Join A Snail’s Pace Running Club every Tuesday night for a run that starts at their store at 750 S. Myrtle Ave, Monrovia. On the fourth Tuesday of the month, the club hosts a pub run that ends at a bar. The first 50 people who sign in get a free party glass, and their first drink (alcoholic or not) is on the house.

Monday Nights With Orange County Hash Harriers

Love running and beer? Look no further than the Orange County Hash House Harriers. The squad meets on Monday evenings to run together before downing a few cold ones. All you have to do is bring $5 and the will to earn to your beer.

Tuesday Nights With Dog Haus Running Club

Meet new faces and burn some calories before imbibing in some tasty drinks with new (and old) friends every Tuesday night with the Dog Haus Running Club. You’ll enjoy a free 5k fun run, followed by a short yoga stretch and happy hour. It all starts at Dog Haus Biergarten at 6pm — don’t be late!

Fun Run With Village Runners

It seems like Tuesday nights are the best nights for beer runs! The Redondo Tuesday Night Fun Run [also] meets on Tuesday evenings at the Redondo Beach store. Runners can expect a fun, flat and scenic coastal course spanning roughly 4 to 7 miles. After reconvening back at the store, the group typically heads to Redondo Beach Brew Co for some recovery beers.

At BeerFit, we believe a good workout is made great with ice cold beer. Sign up for our Los Angeles Classic 5k or Brew Mile here, today.
