What You’ll Do

  • Spearhead the overall delivery and profitability of each assigned Brew Mile event, including
    • P&L oversight
    • Vendor selection, contract negotiation and coordination
    • Course design, planning and execution
  • Be a team leader
    • Manage event coordinators, vendors and paid staff pre and post event
    • Serve as the main point of contact for each venue and all vendors
  • Be the voice and face of Brew Mile
    • Represent The Brew Mile to local media, sponsors, partners and any other parties
  • Manage and execute each event
    • Travel to each assigned Brew Mile and manage the full execution of the event
    • Maintain event level P&L within event suite and manage to cost objectives
    • Manage team to establish course design and budgeting
    • Direct management responsibilities over Event Delivery Team
    • On-site Senior Leader and face of Brew Mile to all third party stakeholders
    • Responsible for managing relationships across multiple stakeholders at senior-most level.  These include venue owners, sponsors, third party service providers, local/state agencies, law enforcement and vendors.
    • Oversight of all operational plans and tactical delivery strategies
    • Parking Planning/Staffing/Execution
    • Oversight of event Logistics, ensuring all items ordered for the event are scheduled and delivered in a timely manner
    • Safety Plan—with final approval from Director of Operations
    • Overall Radio communications leader (acts as the “control” officer during the event)
    • Communication to Senior leadership during any incident as outlined in the Brew Mile Emergency Action Plans
    • Oversight of Sponsor activations, servicing all sponsors during event load-in, operations and load-out, including communicating load-in/out plans, as well as ensuring all Sponsor logistics items (signage, POP, etc.) are delivered and available for the Sponsor or their delegates during the load-in/out process
    • Managing comp/media/VIP entries
    • Procurement and Selection of post-party entertainment (band/DJ), Sound, stage and Lighting equipment for each event.
  • Communicate to senior leadership
    • Pre and post event reporting on financial, customer service and quality metrics
    • Suggest operational improvements

What You’ll Need

  • 3+ years of experience in live events operations
  • Line management experience a plus
  • Strong critical thinker and communicator
  • Results oriented and deadline driven
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
  • Proven ability to maintain calm and clear decision making in high pressure situations
  • Project management and planning skills
  • Proven ability to manage and motivate large teams during difficult circumstances
  • Ability to travel and work in USA
  • Valid driver’s license required
