This New Belgium Collaboration With Ben And Jerry’s Will Be Epic

If we’re being honest — and we always are — ice cream doesn’t hold a candle to a cold, craft beer.

However, if you mix the two and want to debate ice cream’s legitimacy, we can talk.

Doing just that — just in time for summer! — is a sweet, sweet collaboration between Ben and Jerry’s and New Belgium Brewing Company, according to BeerStreetJournal.com. New Belgium Salted Caramel Brownie Brown Ale will soon be available in 22-oz bottles in Fort Collins, Colorado.

We’ll cheers to that!

This mashup of your favorite summer staples (craft beer and ice cream), is a chocolate-y brown ale, loaded with salted caramel and vanilla flavors. With a 6.3% AVB, this brilliant concoction is sure to be both delicious and boozy — or in other words, perfect.

If this team effort didn’t sound good enough already, know that it’s for a good cause! Initial sales will benefit, and create awareness for Protect Our Winters, an organization founded by pro snowboarder Jeremy Jones. Protect Our Winters aims to do just what its title claims: lessen the negative impact of climate change on America’s snowy (and thus snowboard-able) mountains.

New Belgium Salted Caramel Brownie Brown Ale’s release date is TBA — so until then, we’ll be waiting at the edge of our bar stools.
